Description: No matter your subject area, learn how to meet your students where they are and allow them to gain confidence, fluency, skills, and resilience in their writing that leads to academic success! An interactive learning opportunity for educators and administrators who support student writers in all content areas. Join SDAWP Fellows in a discussion of writing instruction while sharing ideas in a community of writers. Concurrent sessions will highlight successful writing instruction for all of our students from demonstrations presented by SDAWP Teacher Consultants. The conference is aligned with the CA State Standards (ELA/ELD). Session topics include: building a writing community; writing in the Science classroom; writing for college and career readiness; writing in the Math classroom; supporting English Language Learners in writing, and more!
