"Fall Into Writing: Building a Writing Community (TK-16)"

 

Date: Saturday, October 3, 2020 • 8:00am - 12:00pm • UC San Diego

Description: A learning opportunity for educators and administrators who support student writers in all content areas. Join SDAWP Fellows in a discussion of writing instruction while sharing ideas in a community of writers. Concurrent sessions will highlight successful writing instruction for all of our students from demonstrations presented by SDAWP Teacher Consultants. The conference is aligned with the CA State Standards (ELA/ELD). Session topics include: building a writing community; using digital tools to promote language and writing development; writing to support English Language Learners; utilizing podcasts to promote writing and civic engagement; crafting engaging nonfiction with young writers, and more! Register a team of 3 or more teachers from a single school site and an administrator attends at no charge! Register now!!
